NFL Week 15 Quick Thoughts

* We’re still waiting for that NY Giants December upswing after Sunday’s 34-0 whitewashing in Atlanta. Now, with wins Sunday, Washington and Dallas are tied atop the NFC East with the G-men.

* Just as they were expected to be, the Packers are once again NFC North Champions.

* Nice bounce back by the Texans, who got the necessary big games from their big players (Matt Schaub, Arian Foster, Andre Johnson) to lock up the AFC South with a victory over the Colts.

* There’s no doubt here that Adrian Peterson (216 yards, TD) is THE MVP of the league.

* How far have the Ravens fallen?

* As if on cue, the Saints got out their 2012 Bounty-gate frustration on the Bucs, 41-0.

* The Cardinals won. What does that say about the Lions?

* The Seahawks have scored 108 points in the last 8 quarters.

* The end of the season can’t come quick enough in San Diego after losing at home to Carolina, 31-7.

* 15-0, 5 FG’s in Oakland between the Chiefs and Raiders.  Be thankful you didn’t have to watch it.

* The Dolphins finally found someone they could dominate. Thank you Jacksonville.
