Red Sox rout Rays – win 2 in a row!

The Red Sox make it two wins in a row for the first time since August 27th of last season, routing the Rays, 13-5 Saturday.* Clay Buchholz rebounds from an early 4-0 first inning deficit, thanks to Luke Scott’s three-run HR, to get his first win of the season –  giving up five runs on six hits in seven innings (5K, 3BB).

* Red Sox bash five HR’s – David Ortiz, Dustin Pedroia, Jarrod Saltalamacchia, Mike Aviles, Cody Ross.

* Aviles took over the lead-off spot for the injured Jacoby Ellsbury, who was placed on the 15-day DL with a shoulder injury.  He’s expected to miss 4-6 weeks.

* Next up: Sunday vs. Rays 1:35pm with Felix Doubront vs. Matt Moore.
