Red Sox win home opener; lose Ellsbury

The Red Sox open the 100th season at Fenway Park with a 12-2 win over the Rays Friday.

* Josh Beckett gets his first win, scattering six hits and one run over eight innings.

* Jacoby Ellsbury left the game with a shoulder injury in the 4th after a collision at 2nd base. The Sox are expected to call up Che-Hsuan Lin for Saturday’s game.

* Kelly Shoppach and Adrian Gonzalez both had three hits.  Shoppach scored three runs.

* Next up: Saturday vs. Rays at 4:05pm with Clay Buchholz vs. Jeremy Hellickson
