Wrestlemania 28 WWE PPV Predictions

So, what will happen on the WWE’s biggest stage of the year? Will The Streak end at the hands of Triple H? Will John Cena get the best of The Rock? All these answers and more await you below…

WWE Divas champ Beth Phoenix & Eve Torres vs. Kelly Kelly & Maria Menounos
Maria Menounos has two broken ribs from Dancing with the Stars, but she’ll still get the win here.  It’s how the WWE will get their mainstream exposure on Monday.
Winner: Maria & Kelly

Team Johnny vs. Team Teddy (David Otunga & Dolph Ziggler & Jack Swagger & Mark Henry & Miz & Drew McIntyre vs. Santino Marella & Great Khali & Zack Ryder & Kofi Kingston & R Truth & Booker T)
It’s RAW vs. Smackdown and we always know who wins in that battle.  Welcome to a double dose of Johnny Ace each week folks.
Winner: Team Johnny

Randy Orton vs. Kane
Why is this even a match on the card? There’s no real feud here, just a reason to get both on the card.
Winner: Randy Orton

WWE Intercontinental champion Cody Rhodes vs. Big Show
At one point, Big Show was going to take on Shaquille O’Neal on this card, but now it’s a throw-in IC Title Match.  I like where Cody is going lately and expect it to continue.  I would’ve rather seen a Rhodes vs. Rhodes IC match here Cody taking on brother Dustin (i.e. Goldust!)
Winner: Cody Rhodes keeps IC Title

World champion Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus
I don’t think this feud ends here but I do think Sheamus grabs the title.  After all, he is Triple H’s boy these days, right?!  Expect the Bella Twins to get involved as Bryan’s real-life girlfriend enters the feud.
Winner: New World Champion Sheamu

WWE Champion CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho
This could and probably will be the best match of the night!  These two are the best the WWE has to offer in-ring these days.  Jericho completes the takedown of Punk and continues a feud that should stretch out over the summer and highlight what the WWE has to offer.
Winner: New WWE Champion Chris Jericho

The Undertaker vs. HHH in Hell in A Cell with Shawn Michaels as special referee
I just can’t see The Undertaker’s streak ending at 19-0 to a guy who doesn’t wrestle regularly anymore.  Plus, I just don’t see Shawn Michaels letting his good friend do something he couldn’t do in two previous tries.  It’ll be physical, dramatic and keep you on the end of your seats.  I expect Jim Ross to be back to call this one as it’s The End of an ERA.
Winner: The Undertaker 20-0!

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson vs. John Cena
It’s one year in the making and let’s all be happy they get physical finally.  You would expect Cena to come out on top here, but you never know considering the fact that The Rock will be hanging around for another PPV later this year (Summerslam?) and they will be announcing the Wrestlemania 29 main event on RAW Monday Night. It might be a perfect time for Cena to just lose it after losing to The Rock and turn complete heel.  I’d like to see it, but I just don’t see the WWE going down that road.
Winner: John Cena

I think you can expect some sort of appearance/announcement from Brock Lesnar on the show (Wrestlemania 29?) as well I think Roddy Piper being on the show somewhere.  It’s Wrestlemania, so expect surprises.
