Patritos sign Lloyd, Gonzalez

The Patriots had their sights set on two WR’s and got them both.  The team has signed Rams WR Brandon Lloyd and Colts WR Anthony Gonzalez.  Lloyd had said he wanted to play again for newly named Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels, who he played for in both Denver and St.Louis.

The move would seem to signal the end to the Chad Johnson (Ochocinco) era in New England.

Next on the Pats agenda would seem to be whether they will pull the plug on RB Benjarvus Green-Ellis back in Foxboro and if S LaRon Landry will follow up his visit with a deal to bolster the secondary.
